Professional vocalist, songwriter and artist

Jena Gogo is a singer, songwriter and performer based in Vancouver, Canada. She's worked for over 10 years as an in-demand studio vocalist and is also one half of acclaimed Americana duo Duke & Goldie. Known for her powerful yet soulful vocals, Jena's voice has been heard by millions on The Family Channel’s hit show The Next Step, commercial campaigns for Canadian Tire and Doordash and on a number of recording projects including Blue Sky Miners, The Working Royals and Hudson Rainer.

Growing up as part of a large musical family on Vancouver island, Jena began singing and performing from a young age. Her first love as a vocalist was singing soul and Motown standards which led her to join an acclaimed local R&B band, The Midnights in her hometown of Victoria. The band toured all over the world and was invited by legendary Motown diva Martha Reeves to give a special performance alongside her in Detroit, MI. The experience became the subject of the 2007 Bravo! documentary Sounds Like Motown. After high school, Jena made the move to Toronto where she became an in-demand studio vocalist for commercial work and jingles. Its here that she also founded notable roots rock band Blue Sky Miners before moving to Vancouver to form Duke & Goldie with whom she currently performs alongside her partner. The duo has found success and acclaim touring across Canada while enjoying radio airplay on CBC Radio, Sirius XM and even BBC Radio in the UK.
